"What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. They are but trifles, to be sure but, scattered along life's pathway, the good they do is inconceivable." Joseph Addison

Life is

"Life is what we are alive to. It is not length but breadth.... Be alive to...goodness, kindness, purity, love, history, poetry, music, flowers, stars, God, and eternal hope." Maltbie D. Babcock

"May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in His works." Psalm 104:31

P.S. I'm having a Vision Forum DVD Giveaway on my main blog, "Living for God". The deadline is tomorrow. Hope you'll stop by and enter :).

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--His eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20

I usually post only photos and some Bible verses here. Obviously, I believe in creation according to God's Holy Word. I have been showing you all the beauty of His creation through my photos on this blog. Today, I am excited to share with you a new website called "Creation Minute" where you can watch amazing videos about scientific facts as evidence for creation.

Creation Minute is an exciting series hosted by Eric Hovind that explores the creation worldview using cutting-edge visual effects and digital technology. Each episode challenges the evolution theory and gives evidence of the Bible's historical and scientific accuracy.

Click anywhere on that link (in blue, turns green when your mouse hovers over it) to go to the website. The videos are very cool! When you're done watching the current episode, click "more".

Colors of Spring

I enjoy photography; therefore, I was excited to find a photo contest hosted by Lori at A Cowboy's Wife. The theme for April’s Blue Ribbon Photo Contest is colors. I love tulips! This picture was taken at the Tulip Festival in Woodburn where there was a multitude of colorful tulips. What a fantastic feast for the eyes (especially for the tulip lovers like me)!

Owl at the High Desert Museum

"Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto Thee. Hide not Thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline Thine ear unto me: in the day when I call, answer me speedily. ...I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert." Psalm 102:1-2, 6

Dazzling Daffodils

"As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear Him, and His righteousness with their children's children--with those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts." Psalm 103:15-18
